Mission Organization!

Can you believe how fast the weekends go? I know they are way too speedy quick for this first grade girl! Especially since I spent my entire Saturday doing this:
MISSION ORGANIZATION
Every drawer, closet, and cupboard are now organized and cleaned out!! It took me 12 hours and I’m sure with 3 boys in the house it will stay cleaned and organized for about 12 seconds.
In Sunday tradition here are my plans:
Anything in color in the plans is linked. I wish I could share some of the cute things I made for my winter animal unit but I used DJ Inkers graphics and don’t have their license, so until I purchase more graphics and rework them, I can’t share.  SO sad!
I do want to share a few things were doing next week and I’ll post pictures soon.
The math and word work center I made are from this pack:
My sight word center will be this:
My poetry center:
Poem was found here:
Book Center
(I’ll try to purchase more commercial graphics so I can share this)
My Listening Center comes from here:
This week for Reader’s Workshop we are working on making connections.  I have various text-self connections sheets in the pack below that I’ll be using. They are of varying complexity so I can differentiate.
I also have three cutie pies that need some extra basic writing practice and they will be using my sweet friend Deedee’s Read, Trace Draw activities.  They love them!
Oh! And I finally finished my Morning Menu for February and March.  And PTL it finally uploaded!
Have a great Sunday night and Happy Monday! I’ll be back soon.
Until then I leave you with this:
My cute boyfriend from one of my favorite shows, Revenge.
Just a little eye candy to get you through this week.

  1. Love the organization pictures; I was just looking at some youtube organization videos this weekend! Also, your school dismisses at 2:35? I'm jealous – we dismiss at 4 (but it's a charter school). Most schools in TX dismiss at 3 though. 2:35 would be amazing because of having some time to get work done after the kids leave!

  3. Good Morning Michelle, Thank-you for sharing your weekly plans (daybook). I find them so helpful when I am planning and often ( 🙂 ) use your suggestions. I am just wondering, do you have an editable plan that you might share? Right now, mine are, well, ugly. I am not a tech wiz so mine are just in a plain document. I would love to jazz them up. Thanks again, Marsha……[email protected]
