I hope you all had a blessed Easter and are gearing up for the end of the year. We just returned a couple of days ago from our big vacation to Disney World. Since we've been back, I've been soaking up every last minute of family time. It's not often that I put down the computer for a whole week. I mean, haven't touched it. It was really nice, although I feel VERY behind. I just wanted to give every minute of my attention to my boys, so I hope you understand. I also hope I can get back to business, because I feel so NOT PREPARED for tomorrow and 22 first graders. I'm sitting in Sadsville at the moment just thinking about it.
So a few things I have to share:
1. I love Disney World. I love seeing the joy in my kiddos faces from the excitement and magic that is Disney. Oh...and if your kiddos love animals...I can't recommend the Animal Kingdom Lodge enough. It's amazing!
2. While at Disney this klutz fell straight off a curb at the Magic Kingdom. I spent the rest of the day at the Celebration Hospital with an ankle the size of a grapefruit. Celebration Hospital is beautiful hospital I might say. But I left with a huge splint on my leg and crutches with instructions to not walk on it all for the rest of my vacation. Well...I had 4 days left and I'm stubborn, so by morning I had the splint off, my hubby wrapped it and we were off to the parks. Each day seems a little better.
3. I got back and my sweet friends said, "We are having and sale!"
So I'm in. If you want anything from my TpT store, you can get it now.
4. Speaking of Teachers pay Teachers; I have some things I created last year that are great for the end of the year. One of the things I'll be doing soon, is my picnic unit. I love the book Pigs Picnic and this little unit includes all kinds of picnic fun. I'm also going to start working on insects and flower centers and finish my punctuation unit I started ages ago.
I hope you all have a great week. 33 days left for me! AHHH...I have a lot of work to do!
